Ok well some news on several fronts…

First I want to thank everyone who sent me get well wishes and cards, the surgery went well, I have a whole lot of movement back in the arm, and today I had the stitches removed. I even got to pick my grandson up over the weekend first time since the accident, IT WAS A SWEET MOMENT.

Onto program news…

We have the Annual AKH and LFM members conference scheduled in Baltimore in October this a great way to meet your fellow IM professionals, make great contacts and generally have fun talking shop without eyes glazing over as soon as you start
talking about autoresponder and affiliate promotions etc etc.

It’s as low cost as I can make it without losing money and its a huge opportunity to meet with people that can get your online dream moving in the right direction

Adding some holly and a picture of me in a Santa suit increased OTO conversions by 200% December 21, 2008

Christmas tip…
By adding some Christmas decoration to the normal site header and having a picture of me in a Santa suit really did increase conversions on one time offers. We tested it on 2 completely different sites Instant Squeeze Page Generator and on Advertising Know How our Traffic Generation Portal

By Making it a special gift from Santa instead of just a normal special offer seemed to trigger a much better response, in the case of Advertising know how we did reduce the normal price slightly, but in the case of Instant squeeze page Generator the price remained the same with an equal response rate being achieved.

It just goes to show if you test and track and make the effort to change things around for special events then sales and conversions can be increased at least over short periods. So now I’m off to get new headers made for Easter and Thanksgiving :)
