whack the recession August 14, 2008

Its an ill wind that blows nobody any good

In every storm cloud there is a silver lining

Just two of the phrases going through my mind today, I was sat down at lunch with my wife listening to the news on the radio, and one of the news items was the fact that the UK economy was in a downturn and that the good old british pound was losing value against the dollar.

Cause for concern?

For 90% of the folks out there sure it was a downturn in the economy isn’t a good thing. but the silver lining thing jumped into my head. You see as an internet marketer who makes his income from selling online and the dollar being the internet currency of choice for me thats a good thing.

If the dollar is worth more when I make the transfer into my bank account my income rises. Ok great i hear you say I happen to live in the US and there isnt a silver lining there for me. BUT IS THAT REALLY TRUE…

Here is another fact, all internet marketers benefit from an econimic downturn, when the economy starts to fall off more and more people look for another income source and more and more that means new people coming on line looking for that extra income to make up for their offline income.

As Internet marketers we can show an upturn in a recession, or at least keep our income steady by marketing to those who come on line looking for that extra income source.

By giving them good tools and products designed to help them break into at least a semi successful online experience. You see most people get into IM not to make a million in 10 days but to subsidise their offline income. If they can make enough to make their car payment, or pay their mortgage or even make the extra cash to pay for their vacation.

If your one of those people who would be happy to subsidise your income and whack the recession then I have something for you. Harris Felman, Tellman Knudson and Shawn Casey (with the help of Sal) have just launched the recession rescue system, * If you’re struggling with money right now, you owe it to yourself to learn how to recession proof your income. you can check it out here Whack the Recession with the Recession Rescue System

The idea of the  "Recession Rescue System" is that we are teaching people how to build a recession proof business. RRS teaches 3 different levels of recession proofing your income. It’s a low cost, high value offer so be sure to check it out today

Am I the only one who found this sales letter just a bit long (say, 20 feet too long) and full of repetition and superfluity?
Did I miss an announcement for a prize to be given for the most stultifying sales letter?

Thanks for the post Robert and I’m one of the struggling ones here trying the online thing and it does get hard sometimes to keep going - so thanks for the encouragement.

I think we tend to believe all the doom and gloom merchants and don’t look at the opportunities right in front of our eyes. Look at the world around us with an open mind and there are endless opportunities to make an income from the internet.

Low cost is even something that leaves me out. I have a few things I have joined that cost nothing to enroll in and then upgrade once I have made money. I make some but not enough however in time I am hoping it will be large! I can then help others. I appreciate your blog about current events, helps to see other commenters are in a similar boat as I am. Keep me abreast of all future blog entries.

Thanks, I have recently become chronically ill, am waiting for SSDI, which could take months, and no income, so am looking for some way to make something, so we do not lose our home and can eat! I appreciate all the information you are sending to me.
